Excel in the optical retail environment

We fully understand that you will need to gain optical knowledge in order to get the most out of the retail skills you already have. Don’t worry, we have got the right path for you with our dedicated Partner In Development (PID) program.

You will join the business as a “Partner in Development” which in essence will mean the beginning of your journey, career and partnership with Specsavers. You will be mentored in a Specsavers host store for 12 months to acquire a solid and detailed understanding of how Optics and Retail come together within the Specsavers environment. This will involve attending our core team member training, which will provide you with a structured learning path in order to get you “up to speed” with your optical knowledge, as well as contributing to your store’s sales and operational performance.

After completing this period you will be considered for a Joint Venture Partnership together with an Optometrist Partner, and share in the success of running your own business with the support and guidance of Specsavers.

And don’t forget that while you are in training, we will pay you a great salary. All we ask in return is your continued commitment and enthusiasm to learning new skills and showcasing your skills you already have from your retail career so far. We see this as a knockout combination.
